Intercessors meet to pray each Sunday afternoon in the Royal Ranger classroom at 5:00 PM.

WHAT IS INTERCESSION?

Intercession pray for God's will to be done in earth; to mediate, intervene, to work with God; to get the ear of the King on behalf of others; pray God's burden; get His mind, His burden, His heart, His will; take on the mind of Christ; listen; focused prayer; power will be seen; pray His Word back to Him; sing His Word back. Intercession is a vital ministry. Neglecting to pray is sin. Intercession is a support ministry.

When coming into intercession, a person should do the following:

  • Cleanse your heart and mind (from the cares of the day)
  • Come prepared to minister to the Lord in praise and worship
  • Be in unity
  • Be open to the Holy Spirit's leading
  • Be a participator

Intercessors make themselves available to be a channel unto the Lord to pray for His burden and concern through the intercessor's spirit by the Holy Spirit. Intercessors work with the Lord to His purpose. Intercession involves the whole spirit, soul, and body. Intercessors must desire to work toward a disciplined life.

Intercessors must have a right relationship with God. He is the Vine and we are the branches. Be servants.
  • Pastors, leaders, and families
  • The families of the church
  • If anyone present has a need
  • The ministries of the church and the leader of each ministry
  • City, state, nation
  • President
  • Missions and missionaries
  • Vision - to stay focused
  • Financial security for city
  • The lost
  • Needs in our prayer bowl
  • Others
